Hand To Mouth

B is a late twenty-something Canadian London resident.  Formerly one half of the ‘food-on-a-budget’ Hand to Mouth, B blogged with her friend N in NYC about their paralell struggles to eat well.  N, however, has moved on.  After a mourning break, Bhas returned to blogging, and still mostly blogs about food although she has lost her digital camera, making food photography next to impossible.

B works in an international charity (not-for-profit) in London by day, and passes a lot of time cooking and restaurant hunting by night.  Although she survives an expensive city on a tight budget, she has never felt this should be a reason to compromise on quality.  She has real passions for simple, fresh  cooking and hunting value for money in an oft-pretentious city.  She loves exploring and finding undiscovered ethnic nooks and crannies in London, meeting other foodies and taking photographs.

B has also travelled extensively, having lived in places as remote as South Korea, Spain and India and travelled to over 35 countries.  She speaks 3 languages, and uses them to her advantage when exploring different cuisines and food cultures around the world.  There is very little food out there that B doesn’t love.
